Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council Visits Guangzhou Distinct Hospital

Recently, the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) CEO Dr. ALi led a delegation to visit Guangzhou Distinct Clinic, accompanied by KPJ Health group’s Mr. Ma Junxiang and others. This visit focused on promoting medical tourism in Malaysia in China, understanding Chinese culture and medical habits, and deepening the knowledge and cooperation in the private medical field between the two countries, injecting new vitality into China-Malaysia medical cooperation.

Since its establishment in 2012, Distinct Medical has adhered to the service concept of “technology + humanity” and has built a unique and effective medical service model, providing a successful localization example for international medical cooperation. In terms of technological innovation, Distinct has created a convenient and efficient online medical platform, achieving rapid access between patients and doctors, while also improving online post-diagnosis follow-up, regular follow-ups, test result interpretation, and remote medical services, allowing high-quality medical resources to cross the limitations of time and space, benefiting patients anytime, anywhere.
In terms of specialty construction, Distinct Medical has taken pediatrics as a breakthrough, and after 13 years of meticulous management, it has built a closed-loop child health service system of “screening – intervention – follow-up”. Through a multi-disciplinary consultation model including pediatrics, child psychology, child dentistry, growth and development, allergy specialties, otolaryngology, and more, it provides comprehensive protection for the healthy growth of children. On this basis, Distinct further expands the adult specialty system, covering a wide range of fields including internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, physical examination, adult dentistry, medical aesthetics, psychology, and rehabilitation, gradually establishing and expanding 2 hospitals, winning widespread recognition, and currently has 110,000 active member families.
In the process of global layout, Distinct has set up 4 service outlets in Singapore, and projects in Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and other places are also being prepared, planning to expand to more countries in the future, committed to creating a more convenient and accessible international medical service network for global Chinese, enterprises, and expatriates in China.
During the exchange meeting that day, MHTC CEO Dr. Ali and Distinct Medical CEO Wang Zhiyuan had an in-depth discussion on the medical habits of Chinese people, aiming to provide high-quality medical services that are more in line with the needs of Chinese people, covering the integration of multi-specialty diagnosis and treatment resources and recommendations for major disease medical treatment, etc.
The two parties also reached many consensuses on medical resource cooperation. Distinct Medical will delve into Malaysia’s medical tourism resources to promote the localization of Chinese people’s medical services in Malaysia; at the same time, with its good reputation in pediatric health specialties, it plans to carry out more related services in Malaysia, including holding medical forums and promoting exchanges between specialists.
Looking forward, both parties have clarified that they will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of medical tourism, medical training, and academic exchanges, working together to promote the cross-border flow of high-quality medical resources, making medical care a warm bridge connecting the trust and friendship between the two countries, and jointly creating a higher quality and more diverse medical experience for patients.
